The difference between 2B and BA finishes:
2B: cold rolling--annealing and pickling--flattening
BA: cold rolling--bright annealing--flattening
2B: ordinary cold-rolled surface, the surface of stainless steel countertops (non-brushed ones)
BA: ordinary mirror surface, the surface of the inner drum of a drum washing machine
The main difference is annealing. 2B is annealed and pickled, and the surface is oxidized to a certain extent, darker
BA is bright annealed, the surface is not oxidized, and it is brighter
2B stainless steel sheet: the edge is rolled with a working roll with a roughness of 0.2-0.28, generally produced by horizontal continuous annealing, and the surface is rougher
BA stainless steel sheet: rolled with a working roll with a roughness of 0.006-0.008, and annealed in a vertical furnace, the surface is very mirror-like
2B surface is relatively rough, glossy, and slightly Scratches, gray
BA surface is smooth, high gloss, silvery white
2B surface is made by pickling, film removal, flatness treatment and other processes on the basis of cold-rolled plate
BA surface is made by electrolytic polishing on the basis of 2B surface
